Mobile Device Management Lead/Architect Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12-24 Months Contract SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist to manage, secure, and support the organization's mobile device infrastructure. The ideal candidate will oversee device enrollment, configuration, security compliance, and lifecycle management across corporate and BYOD environments, ensuring data protection and seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities Configure and manage enterprise mobile device management platforms Enroll, provision, and decommission mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) Implement security policies, compliance rules, and access controls Manage mobile application deployment and updates Monitor device compliance and remediate security vulnerabilities Provide technical support for mobile devices and related systems Maintain documentation for MDM processes and policies Support integration with identity management systems (Azure AD, Okta, etc.) Conduct audits and ensure adherence to corporate security standards Collaborate with IT security and infrastructure teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience in mobile device management or endpoint management Experience with MDM/EMM platforms such as: Microsoft Intune VMware Workspace ONE Jamf Pro MobileIron Strong knowledge of iOS, Android, and Windows device management Understanding of mobile security principles and compliance standards Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus Preferred Skills Knowledge of Zero Trust security models Experience with conditional access policies Familiarity with certificate-based authentication ITIL or security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications) Key Competencies Strong troubleshooting skills Attention to detail Clear communication and documentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Customer-service mindset business. We Value Your Skills: Experience: 3+ years of experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, including Intune, SOTI MobiControl, or Zoom Device Manager. Platform Knowledge: Strong expertise in iOS, iPadOS, and Android device management, as well as experience with specialized RF handheld devices. Scripting: Strong scripting skills, particularly with PowerShell, for automating tasks and managing device configurations at scale. Cloud Ecosystems: Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure. Security: In-depth knowledge of mobile device security best practices and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across different teams and departments.
