Description Painter | Temp to hire position $18-$20/hr. | On-Site Media, PA Our client is seeking a Painter to support a welding and fabrication shop. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing welded metal parts and assemblies. Prior industrial or shop painting experience is a plus, but not required. A day in the life of a Painter • Prepare metal parts and welded assemblies for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking) • Apply paint and coatings using spray equipment or other tools as instructed • Ensure proper coverage and finish quality per specifications • Allow proper drying and curing time before handling parts • Perform visual inspections for quality and consistency • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe paint/work area • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and ventilation requirements • Assist with general shop or helper duties as needed Requirements for the Painter positionPrior painting or shop experience preferred but not required Willingness to learn and follow detailed work instructions Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfortable working in a production or shop environment HS Diploma or GED plus relative experience Openings 1
