Occupational Therapist (OT) Sequoia Transitional Care - Porterville, CA Status: Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN Pay Range: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Join Our Team! Sequoia Transitional Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our therapy team and support our dynamic sensory program. Position Summary The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve independence, safety, and quality of life. This role works closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Qualifications Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred Experience in post-acute or long-term care settings preferred Proficient in computer systems including Casamba and PointClickCare preferred Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of California (required) Must maintain license in good standing at all times CPR certification (as required) Must meet all continuing education requirements per state regulations Valid, unrestricted driver's license Ability to pass a criminal background check Skills & Abilities Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures and policy manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, residents, and families Mathematical Skills Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Why Join Sequoia Transitional Care?
