Human Resources Intern

Ensign-Bickford Industries (EBI) is seeking a motivated, curious, and people-focused Human Resources Intern to join our Corporate HR team for a 12-week, hands-on summer internship. This is not a "shadow and observe" role - you will contribute to meaningful HR initiatives that support our people, our leaders, and our business. As an HR Intern, you'll gain exposure across core HR functions while working closely with an HR Generalist on projects tied to internship program development, employee engagement, workforce data, and HR systems. You'll collaborate with business partners across EBI and see how HR operates as a strategic function within a complex, multi-business organization. This position is located in downtown Denver, CO. Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities Internship Program & University Relations Support the planning and execution of EBI's internship program, including onboarding, intern engagement activities, and program improvements Partner with HR and hiring managers to enhance the intern experience from start to finish HR Operations & Systems (Workday) Learn how HR systems support reporting, compliance, and workforce decisions Support basic HR reporting and data validation activities Engagement, Retention & Workforce Insights Support HR initiatives focused on employee experience, retention, and continuous improvement Help translate data into insights that inform HR priorities HR Programs & Projects Support employee engagement initiatives, coordination, and HR communications Participate in cross-functional HR projects that align with business needs Provide general HR project and administrative support as needed Throughout the internship, you'll work with your manager to define specific project goals and complete at least one end-to-end HR project you can showcase professionally.
