Job Description: As a Forensic Accounting Leader in Crowe's Forensics Consulting Group, you will apply your accounting expertise and analytical skills to assess financial information critically. You will play a vital role on a dynamic team that provides litigation support, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, insurance claim analysis, and dispute resolution. Your main responsibilities will include fostering client relationships, overseeing project delivery, managing engagement economics and risks, and supporting the growth of our forensic practice. Client & Engagement Management: Lead and guide a talented team of forensic experts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering professional development. Conduct engagements following professional, legal, regulatory, and firm standards. Collaborate with attorneys, executives, and various stakeholders to tailor engagement strategies to meet the specific needs of each case. Utilize advanced litigation support technologies, including eDiscovery software and data analytics tools. Implement quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of submissions and analyses. Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies in forensic and litigation support, making recommendations for improvements. Provide expert support during depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary. Review and analyze financial statements, accounts, and records to uncover inconsistencies, discrepancies, or potential fraudulent activities. Summarize complex data into effective damage models and present findings clearly. Manage a wide range of cases, from investigations to insurance claims. Position the team for successful engagement execution by managing resources and resolving issues proactively. Meet client commitments while adhering to budget and realization objectives. Business Development: Actively explore new revenue opportunities for the firm by developing innovative strategies to capture business in target markets. Identify ways to enhance value for existing clients and attract new clients through tailored solutions. Enhance brand visibility and create business opportunities within the firm and external market. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is required. Active CPA license is required; CFE or CFF certification is preferred. 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, including 2 to 3 years in Litigation Support or Forensic Accounting. Experience in a professional services firm is required; audit experience is a plus. Strong investigative, analytical, and organizational skills. Creative problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail. A motivation to develop leadership capabilities. A desire to build networking skills and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed. Work Environment: Hybrid work environment with occasional client site visits.
