AHN St. Vincent Hospital is actively looking for RN graduates for various nursing teams! Our graduates can begin their careers with a Graduate Nurse Temporary Practice Permit (GN TPP) or a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Every Graduate Nurse is automatically enrolled in our Nurse Residency Program (NRP), which supplements nursing orientation and supports you throughout your pivotal first year as a nurse. GENERAL OVERVIEW: Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of the healthcare organization. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Use the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care tailored to age-appropriate populations. (30%) Develop interdisciplinary care plans based on assessment findings and physician orders for suitable age populations. (30%) Ensure comprehensive patient documentation and enhance communication among caregivers. (10%) Contribute to the goals of the Division, Hospital, and Department. (10%) Deliver detailed instructional support to patients and families to guide them through their care episode and transition to home or another care level. (10%) Support the development of students, new staff, and fellow colleagues. (10%) Complete any other assigned duties as necessary.
