Job Description A leading private home builder is eager to bring on a talented Residential Construction Purchasing Manager. Core Responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager Include: Thoroughly review budgets for accuracy and make necessary corrections. Customize standard plans for specific lots by incorporating site-specific resources and quantities into estimates. Ensure all selections and options are accurately reflected on purchase orders. Release purchase orders and develop schedules. Assist in creating pricing for various options. Provide support to the construction team throughout the building process. Manage costs by closely reviewing all projects to avoid unnecessary expenses. Generate monthly budget reports for base homes. Lead weekly team meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
