Our affiliated practice OBGYN Associates of Central Florida is seeking a Full Time Nurse Pratitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) in Orlando, Florida. Effectively identifies, evaluate and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care. Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with the physician, other providers and practice manager, which allows for consultation, collaboration or referral. Works in a leadership role with the staff. Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues. Educated patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatment and/or medication. Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures. Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician. One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
