Job Description Join the dynamic Network Services team within Oracle's Global Information Technology organization, where you will play a vital role in delivering IT services to Oracle's global businesses. Your focus will be on managing and enhancing our network infrastructure to support our operations worldwide. Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include: Keeping accurate records of equipment failures and coordinating with engineers and suppliers as needed. Escalating client issues following established procedures to ensure timely resolution. Utilizing network management tools to oversee network performance, analyze data, and suggest enhancements for improved efficiency. Ensuring the network infrastructure meets business bandwidth needs and recommending proactive improvements. Troubleshooting network issues across campus and remote locations, including country-wide area networks, until resolution. Engaging in Project Engineering, which includes defining specifications, designing solutions that comply with corporate standards, and overseeing implementation and testing through to production. Responding to alarm notifications to identify and resolve outages swiftly. Providing on-call support and assisting colleagues as required. Required Skills & Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience in a network engineering role within production environments. A strong foundation in networking principles, including routing, switching, and security concepts. Hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. Familiarity with network automation tools (such as Ansible) to boost operational efficiency and reliability. A proven track record of automating network tasks to enhance reliability and reduce manual effort. Experience with cloud networking, especially Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); familiarity with AWS or other providers is also acceptable. Expertise in managing hybrid on-premises and cloud network architectures. Experience with VPN solutions, encompassing site-to-site VPNs and secure remote user access. Knowledge of load balancing technologies, including F5 or cloud-native equivalents. Hands-on management experience with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, including rule configuration and troubleshooting. Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including diagrams and operational procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet federal security clearance requirements for this role. This role may also require compliance with immunization and occupational health mandates. Salary ranges for this position are defined as follows: US: Hourly from $33.94 to $67.88; annual from $70,600 to $141,200. Equity options may also be available.
