As a talented Pharmacist PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with regulations, dispensing medications, and enhancing the patient experience. Enjoy flexible scheduling while gaining invaluable skills in a supportive and enriching environment. Key Responsibilities Dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patient drug therapies and advise on interventions. Provide patient counseling as required by law. Complete operational pharmacy requirements, including maintaining records and managing inventory. Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure adherence to legal regulations. Administer immunizations or vaccines as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned within scope. Required Skills and Abilities In-depth knowledge of dosage requirements and pharmaceutical brands. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software. Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse populations. Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple projects. Effective in handling sensitive inquiries or complaints. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or Doctorate in pharmacy or pharmacology. Proven experience as a pharmacist. Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in Texas. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Work Environment Exposure to bloodborne pathogens: Level 3 (Low). Moderate noise level. Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds and frequent standing and talking.
