Your key responsibilities In this important position, you will: Manage and deliver data architecture projects with an emphasis on quality and risk management. Guide project teams in implementing innovative data infrastructures and technical solutions. Serve as the primary resource for understanding client needs and delivering effective data architecture solutions. Promote continuous process improvements and propose innovative strategies based on best practices. Establish and uphold data governance policies to ensure security, quality, and lifecycle management. As a data architecture expert, you will mentor and lead teams while engaging clients to align their strategic goals with effective data strategies. Your strong relationship management skills will help you become a trusted advisor, actively involving stakeholders in the decision-making process. To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of professional experience in consulting, particularly in technology. Extensive hands-on experience in architecting and implementing data lake solutions, along with at least 5 years of experience with cloud services like Azure or GCP. Proficiency in data modeling, database management, and data integration techniques. Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams of data engineers. A solid understanding of data security principles and best practices. Ideally, you'll also have A Master's degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Engineering. Experience working with a big 4 consulting firm or a major utility. A passion for innovation and a commitment to fostering an inclusive working environment.
