Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: As a Loss Prevention Specialist, your primary role will be to safeguard the Company against financial loss stemming from theft and fraud, while also ensuring compliance with safety and environmental programs across the assigned store or stores. You will leverage various tools and strategies to minimize loss, which includes identifying incidents of theft and fraud, analyzing CCTV footage and exception reports, and enhancing the store's physical security. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring and auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance systems. Promoting a culture focused on shrink elimination within the store. Preparing precise and comprehensive case reports that detail your apprehensions and recoveries. Preserving evidence and collaborating with law enforcement. Testifying in criminal and civil court proceedings as needed. It's essential to report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty while performing your duties in a manner that minimizes injury risk to yourself, colleagues, vendors, customers, and the Company. You must exemplify integrity at all times, address asset protection and operational concerns raised by associates, and remain committed to specific business objectives while supporting critical asset protection and operational responsibilities.
