Pharmacy Technician

Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations; report any illegal activity immediately. Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines, keeping the work area hazard-free. Manage inventory functions effectively, including ordering and organizing medications and supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all workstations and customer areas. Accurately prepare and dispense medication in accordance with best practices. Complete billing procedures efficiently to benefit both customers and the company. Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and provide information as needed. Process transactions accurately, including handling vendor coupons and electronic payments. Deliver exceptional customer experiences while processing all aspects of customer service. Assist the pharmacist with various responsibilities, not requiring professional judgment. Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies to protect customer information. Support company health and wellness initiatives actively. Restock legend orders and manage deliveries appropriately. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts effectively. Maintain honesty and integrity concerning customer and business information. Provide assistance and support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
