CHEM line Operator -day

Job Position: CHEM line Operator -Day Location: PORTLAND, OR Pay Rate: $19-21/hr Shift: Day Position Summary: ChemLine Operator will perform various tasks to clean and refurbish parts used in semiconductor chip manufacturing. ChemLine Operator will follow process to chemical clean, etch and/or passivate parts. They will also use various tools and equipment to accomplish a consistent finish. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned: Follow all safety protocols and assist in promoting a safe culture Follow all quality protocols to meet customer specifications Read and comprehend internal documents such as work order travelers, inventory records, and logs Visually inspect parts for cosmetic defects per customer or internal criteria Prepare parts for chemical processing using fixtures or hangers ensuring minimal opportunity for damage to product Manual or mechanical assisted loading of parts into chemical tanks ensuring process times are achieved Use various tools and equipment such as jitterbugs, sanders, detail brushes, pressure washers, and other items to detail the part according to specification Operate a hoist as needed for lifting and moving heavy objects Multitask to process multiple parts simultaneously while adhering to process standards Maintain clean and orderly work environment including tasks on the daily housekeeping checklist Use hand tools to create fine detail Your experiences, skills, and abilities: Previous experience in parts cleaning is a plus Attention to detail 1 year experience in manufacturing desired Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment requiring quick turnaround Able to wear require PPE including chemical resistant suit, multiple pairs of gloves, steel toe boots, face shield, safety glasses, with potential of respirator certification Ability to lift 40lbs Perks of Working at our facility: Generous PTO 401K program with employer matching contribution Health, dental, vision Insurance (with generous employer contribution) Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance (fully employer paid) Life and AD&D (employer paid & voluntary option) Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
