Brown and Caldwell is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Practice Leader in our Solids and Energy division. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in leading major wastewater and biosolids projects and delivering exceptional service to our established clients. This role focuses on driving growth within the Solids/Energy practice, aligning with the strategic goals of the Southeast Area. Key Responsibilities: Lead and represent the Solids/Energy brand within the industry. Contribute to the development of technical vision and strategy by analyzing market trends, client needs, and identifying opportunities. Collaborate with various leaders to develop business plans and priorities for the practice area. Foster connectivity and collaboration among staff in the area to enhance service delivery. Partner with innovation leaders to promote innovative solutions and R&D efforts. Oversee quality project delivery and resource allocation to meet strategic goals. Client Interaction and Business Development: Work closely with Practice and Business Unit Leaders to drive annual business planning and funnel development. Engage in new business development initiatives, acting as the client service manager for strategic clients. Evaluate the competitive landscape to inform strategic practices and capabilities. Knowledge Management and Talent Development: Identify needs for technical standards and engage local staff to support development and implementation. Mentor staff and identify growth opportunities within the practice. Qualifications: B.S. degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Sanitary, Mechanical, or Environmental); MS preferred. At least 10 years of experience in municipal engineering or consulting. Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required. Experience with biosolids projects and familiarity with related regulations. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
