Your Daily Responsibilities In your role as a cashier, you will ensure that every customer’s transaction is seamless and enjoyable. While most of your work will be at the register, you may also assist in various store tasks such as helping other departments or stocking shelves. Assist customers in the self-checkout area. Efficiently scan and bag items. Handle cash register operations including payments and exchanges. Respond to customer inquiries. Maintain a clean and safe workstation. Perform additional duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods. Experience with computer systems including data entry. Capability to lift at least 10lbs without assistance and 15lbs with aid if needed. Must obtain necessary sales-related licenses as required by local laws. Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail or customer service. Bilingual abilities.
