Part-Time Optometric Technician/Medical Assistant

Become part of our team today and contribute to the highest quality vision care for our patients. This position reports to the Office General Manager while directly assisting our Doctors. Note: Some weekend and evening shifts will be required. You Will Engage with patients, accurately document their medical history and concerns, and prepare them for their eye exams. Ensure a smooth and efficient flow of patients to the Doctor and the rest of the office staff throughout appointments. Make patients feel comfortable with the office procedures they will encounter during their appointments. Receive training to effectively use pre-test equipment to conduct visual screenings for patients before their consultation with the doctor. Provide contact lens training to eligible patients and perform other preliminary testing. Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience. About You You possess a High School Diploma/GED and have basic math skills. You are personable, patient, and adept at comforting patients throughout the screening process. You pay attention to detail and work closely with the Optometrist. You have a willingness to learn about the industry, products, and services. You are a collaborative team player committed to providing the best patient experience. While prior healthcare, medical, or optical experience is preferred, it is not required; we will provide training to the ideal candidate.
