Come work in the fast paced cannabis industry! We are hiring a Full Time Budtender for our High Plainz Strains of Fort Lupton location. General Info: Heavy preference will be given to candidates who already have their badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado. If you don't already have that, you can apply with the State of Colorado. The ideal candidate for this role will have open availability for the hours this store is open - Sunday - Saturday 8 am to 10 pm. This person will have a positive friendly attitude and a passion for and knowledge of cannabis, and love interacting with our customers! This is a full time position, and you will generally be scheduled 30-35 hours per week, 4-5 shifts per week. Pay - Starting pay is $15.16 per hour, with an extra $4.00-$6.00 per hour earned in tips. Customer Service is our #1 priority, so the ideal candidate will have worked in a customer service role, and largely enjoyed it. Knowledge of the cannabis product world is a plus, but not required. We have lots of expertise and knowledge in-house, and we will help you learn whatever you don't already know about the wide variety of cannabis products. Essential Job Responsibilities: Engage with customers by answering questions and offering knowledgeable product recommendations. Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to every guest. Stock and organize products on the sales floor. Accurately and responsibly handle cash transactions. Adhere to all company policies as well as regulations set forth by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED). Preferred Skills and Qualifications: A valid State of Colorado cannabis industry badge is required to work in any dispensary. The cost of obtaining this badge is the responsibility of the candidate/employee and is not reimbursed by the company. Reliability is essential, as this is a customer-facing role. Prior customer service experience, preferably in retail or hospitality (server, bartender, host, etc.). Friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills. Genuine interest in the cannabis industry and its products-even if you don't personally partake. General knowledge of cannabis products is a plus. Willingness to learn and strictly follow industry rules and regulations on a daily basis. EEOC employer
