Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist - $2,943 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR Job Details:• Work 8-hour shifts with options of 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM• Weekend rotation as determined by department needs• On-call responsibilities required approximately 1-2 weekdays per week and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule (approximately 1 weekend per month)• Holiday coverage required: 1 major summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and 1 winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) rotated based on department needs• Overtime may be necessary• Float within scope of practice as needed• Must have 2 years recent scrub experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases• Experience required in coronary artery bypass, ascending aortic aneurysms, valve repair and replacement, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), thoracic organ transplant, ECMO, ventricular assist devices, redo and emergent cases• Adult scrub experience required, pediatric scrub experience preferred• Virginia license required at time of submittal• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), CST, and state registration• Must demonstrate ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills• Participate in numerous ongoing research protocols• Excellent communication skills and team player mentality required• Free on-site parking provided Facility:This medical campus operates a comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgery program, specializing in complex cardiac procedures including heart and lung transplants, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices.
