Forestal Engineer

Mill Brothers Landscape & Nursery, Inc. dba Mill Brothers Landscape Group seeks Forestal Engineers - needed for multiple permanent, full-time employment. Job Location: 4760 Three Bell Parkway, Timnath, CO 80547, and other worksite locations within normal commuting distance in Larimer and surrounding counties listed below. Job Duties: Beneficiary will be required to perform a variety of duties managing the growth of different types of trees and other vegetation. Skilled in planting, removing, or caring for trees, while considering how trees and vegetation may develop over long time frames and providing technical and professional expertise for evaluating the health of trees and vegetation. Plan and implement soil conservation practices for landscape sites including soil amendments, compost integration, contour grading, and vegetative stabilization to prevent erosion and enhance plant health. Tree, turf, plant health, care, water management to include water conservation, soils, turf, trees fertigation, improve pesticide processes to protect vegetation and improving soil and water contaminant issues from fertilizer and pesticides. Tree, turf, and plant conservation, restoration of all plant bearing areas as well as treating and maintaining plant materials to include trees, shrubs, flowers, and grasses. Coordinating irrigation processes, programming of clocks, computer-controlled monitoring systems to reduce wasteful saturation of soils, trees, turf, and plant beds. Develop and manage irrigation strategies that support water conservation goals. The beneficiary will perform these responsibilities in conjunction with the grounds crew under the direction of the superintendent or supervisor. Requirements: Position requires Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Forestry, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the landscaping industry to include installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial irrigation systems; developing and coordinating irrigation programs based on site conditions, seasonality, soil types and plant and vegetation health; and managing and programming irrigation controllers. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) to communicate efficiently with team members in the field. Various Worksites: Employer will provide daily transportation to and from the worksite/centralized location to job sites in Adams County, Arapahoe County, Boulder County, Broomfield County, Clear Creek County, Denver County, Douglas County, Jefferson County, Larimer County, Park County, and Weld County.
