What Our IT Team Achieves at Cardinal Health The Information Technology department is key to developing and delivering robust computing and information services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and seasoned IT Solutions Manager to lead key financial IT solutions, particularly in large-scale finance transformation projects. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex IT projects, a solid grasp of finance business processes (specifically invoice to cash and procure to pay), and a track record of successfully leading diverse teams, including both onshore and offshore resources as well as external consultants. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and robust stakeholder management skills to ensure our solutions not only meet business needs but are continuously improved for maximum value. Key Responsibilities Solution Ownership & Strategy Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for finance IT solutions in alignment with business and IT objectives. Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for assigned IT solutions. Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify areas for innovation. Oversee the full lifecycle of solutions, from implementation to maintenance and eventual phase-out. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess solution effectiveness. Project Delivery Lead and manage IT solution delivery for finance transformation projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and scope requirements. Develop comprehensive project plans, resource assignments, and risk mitigation strategies. Manage project budgets and expenses while ensuring compliance with financial guidelines. Track project progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed. Adhere to project management methodologies and standards. Team Leadership & Management Lead a diverse team of onshore and offshore resources, providing mentorship and constructive feedback. Oversee external consultants, ensuring alignment with project goals and quality standards. Promote a collaborative, high-performance team culture. Manage statements of work for staff augmentation and implementation partners, ensuring deliverables meet project expectations. Stakeholder Management Act as the main point of contact regarding IT solution matters for finance transformation projects. Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and promptly. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define solution requirements, priorities, and success metrics. Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned throughout the solution's lifecycle. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders. Business Process Knowledge Exhibit deep understanding of finance business processes, especially invoice to cash and procure to pay. Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Identify opportunities for business process improvements through technology. Ensure solutions support optimal business processes. Technical Expertise Oversee the design, development, and implementation of financial IT solutions. Offer technical guidance and support to project teams. Ensure the integrity, quality, and security of IT solutions. Contribute to overall solution architecture. Service Management Manage ongoing support and maintenance of solutions to ensure high performance. Oversee service level agreements (SLAs) to guarantee compliance. Manage vendor relationships relevant to the solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 8 years in IT project management or solution ownership with a focus on finance transformation projects is required. Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects with budgets over $2M. In-depth knowledge of finance processes like invoice to cash and procure to pay. Experience with SaaS integration with SAP is necessary. Background in SAP Ariba implementation is highly desirable. Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4HANA is preferred. PMP certification is a plus. Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams and external consultants. Proficient in managing staff augmentation and implementation partner statements of work (SOWs). Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required. Compensation: Anticipated salary range is $123,400 - $176,300, with bonus eligibility.
