The selected candidate will spearhead departmental growth, contribute to the establishment of a new residency program, and strive for excellence in diagnosis, treatment, research, and education. This pivotal role requires collaboration with an academic institution, and there is potential to step into the role of Academic Department Chair at our Phoenix Campus. Qualified applicants must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, a minimum of 5 years of documented leadership experience, and Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery. The ideal candidate is a confident and visionary leader with strong clinical acumen and a commitment to academic excellence, deeply understanding community practice and integrated care. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to inspire collaborative relationships, adopt a mission-driven approach, and possess a style rooted in partnership, collegiality, and consensus building. Additionally, the Chair should be attuned to the local community's health needs and actively participate in community engagement to support our organization's mission and vision.
