Overview of Supply Chain Product Management at Cardinal Health In our organization, we focus on optimizing materials handling and product distribution within a dynamic environment. Our expertise encompasses warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, inventory management, and comprehensive planning across demand, supply, and manufacturing. The role of Supply Chain Product Management is to critically assess, design, and implement innovative solutions aimed at enhancing our Supply Chain operations. This includes introducing improved technology, refined processes, and effective metrics. Our team is dedicated to establishing a strategic vision, crafting a compelling business case, and managing financial implications for new product initiatives. We also oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure successful outcomes. The Manager of Strategic Supply Chain Initiatives will lead a team of Senior Advisors focused on propelling advancements in inventory, transportation, and warehouse management. While this role does not define enterprise strategy, it plays a crucial part in translating strategic visions into actionable projects that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various operational areas to ensure the effective execution of initiatives. Key Responsibilities Guide and mentor a team of Senior Advisors, cultivating a culture centered around accountability, innovation, and teamwork. Build future capabilities through effective talent management and succession planning. Lead the execution of the BRITS framework in partnership with Enterprise Architecture and engage with leaders from other business units to align technology strategies across inventory, transportation, and warehouse management. Create a strategic 3-year roadmap to inform budget planning and the sequencing of key initiatives aligned with PSS Hoshin objectives. Oversee the design and implementation of cross-functional initiatives that align with the comprehensive supply chain vision and enhance customer experience. Collaborate with functional leaders and teams to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions. Educate stakeholders on the end-to-end vision for major initiatives, fostering alignment among product management, IT, and business areas. Identify potential risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure responsible oversight of assets and brand integrity throughout project execution. Manage investments in technology and process enhancements. Monitor return on investment (ROI) to ensure initiatives yield tangible business improvements. Facilitate education on key performance indicators (KPIs) and their interdependencies across functions. Promote the adoption of best practices and Agile methodologies within the product management team. Ensure scalability of initiatives across the enterprise. Qualifications 8+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Strong leadership and talent development skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Proficient in risk management, financial oversight, and ROI analysis. Familiarity with enterprise platforms and Agile methodologies. What You Can Expect at This Level Management of departmental operations and supervision of professional personnel.
