Position Overview: The Workforce Development Specialist will support the Director of Workforce Development in implementing and managing strategies to attract, retain, and develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce. This role will assist in the coordination of workforce planning, talent management, and employee training and development programs to ensure the company meets its operational and strategic goals. Essential Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Workforce Development in the development and implementation of comprehensive workforce strategies across MC and BG facilities. Coordinate recruitment and retention programs, including job fairs, campus recruiting, and other outreach efforts for Majestic Care Staffing, Home Office and facilities as needed. Support the design and delivery of employee training and professional development initiatives. Help manage workforce planning and forecasting activities. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of talent management programs, including succession planning and performance management. Maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities. Support with monitoring and the analysis of workforce metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making. Liaise with educational institutions, professional organizations, and community groups to support workforce development efforts. Assist with the ensuring of compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Perform other administrative duties as required by the Director of Workforce Development. Assist with the managing of Majestic Care Staffing. Assist with the processing of Majestic Care Staffing Payroll. Assist with the scheduling of Majestic Care Staffing CTM to MC and BG buildings. Assist with the implementing and maintaining schedules of Majestic Care Staffing within the software system to all MC and BG buildings. Assist with the Final interview for scheduler candidates for MC and BG buildings. Assist with the training of schedulers on scheduling techniques and software system. Be a resourceful liaison between our communities and our scheduling platform for trouble shooting, updates, and training. Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Required/Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources, workforce development, or a related field. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards is a plus. Experience working with educational institutions and community organizations is a plus. In-depth knowledge of scheduling practices in long-term care Experience training others on scheduling practices. Experience working with scheduling platforms. Experience of labor management practices in long-term care. Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities Must have the ability to prioritize appropriately. Must be detail orientated and can multitask. Other Special Requirements: Manual dexterity required to operate modern office equipment. Must possess a valid driver's license for travel as required. #MCare
