Description Conduct evaluations for patients of all ages using established assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans targeting immediate goals alongside comprehensive communication and swallowing issues. Implement individualized speech therapy sessions focused on improving communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to design integrated treatment strategies. Provide education and resources for patients and their families to support progress outside of therapy sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure continuity of care. Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with relevant regulations. Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of the latest developments in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is yet to be achieved. Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for all age groups, with a solid grasp of various speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on communication with patients and families. Ability to customize therapy approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
