Segra is excited to welcome a skilled and experienced Network Provisioning Specialist to our team in a full-time capacity. This role operates on Central Standard Time and requires a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work in the office three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days each week. Role Overview: In this position, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive support for the SEGRA Networks, particularly in IP and Ethernet networks. You will possess a strong understanding of essential concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the field. Required Qualifications: Experience with E-Line and ELAN, including provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting using CLI. A minimum of 4 years in networking engineering or layer 2 provisioning related to E-Line and ELAN. Experience provisioning with Ciena equipment or substantial knowledge of Cisco equipment. Willingness to be on call for after-hours support. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with provisioning for Ring and Linear Services. A college degree in Engineering or a related field, with 3-5 years of professional-level experience; or 6+ years of relevant Engineering/Technical experience; or a combination of education and experience. 6+ years of troubleshooting experience with higher-level Network Hardware and provisioning. Experience in a network operations environment or related role. Extensive knowledge in either Data or Transport disciplines as outlined in the Skill Matrix. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work extensively on a computer keyboard and monitor. A detail-oriented mindset with good organizational and time management skills. Ability to effectively multitask. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment, especially under time-sensitive conditions. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
