Work in close conjunction with Orthopaedic department chair and PMR faculty to develop a long-term PM&R division strategic plan. Provide patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings affiliated with a Level 1 Trauma Center. Perform outpatient procedures including injections, ultrasound, and EMG. Develop rehabilitation protocols at the UMC of El Paso Hospital for patients requiring rehab services. Engage in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship. Serve the academic community through participations with committee work and other administrative duties. Contribute to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission. Ensure compliance with HIP AA and billing regulations. Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures. Demonstrate professionalism in accordance with the Paul L.
