As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise and leadership will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.Responsibilities:Manage and supervise the pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnelEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacyEnsure accurate dispensing of medications and adherence to proper procedures while overseeing compounding and labeling processesDevelop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulationsCollaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy managementProvide drug information to healthcare professionals and patientsConduct medication utilization reviews to identify opportunities for improvementMonitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for therapy adjustments as neededParticipate in medical management activities, including formulary management and medication utilization reviewsMaintain aseptic technique in sterile compounding areasProvide clinical support in acute care settings such as the emergency room (ER) and intensive care unit (ICU)Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and patient serviceMonitor medication inventory levels and order medications as neededMaintain accurate patient records and documentationQualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degreeCurrent state pharmacist license in good standingPrevious experience as a licensed pharmacistStrong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and drug interactionsLeadership and management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patientsAttention to detail and commitment to patient safetyKnowledge of pharmaceutical compounding and medication therapy managementProficiency in medication administration, including IV infusion and pain managementJob Type: Full-timePay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Health BenefitsPaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekends as neededLicense/Certification:Licensed Pharmacist, RPh (Required)Ability to Commute:Pennington, NJ (Required)Ability to Relocate:Pennington, NJ: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
