Clinical Pharmacy Manager Summit County, OH About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacy Manager to lead and develop a team of clinical pharmacy specialists. This newly redesigned role focuses exclusively on clinical management, providing an opportunity to shape and grow clinical pharmacy services across a dynamic health system. Why This Role Matters: The Clinical Pharmacy Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing patient care through leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight. You will be instrumental in enhancing the visibility and impact of clinical pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Team Overview: 12 Clinical Pharmacy Specialists Specialists cover nearly all inpatient floors (excluding Burn Center) Team is highly motivated, family-oriented, and early in their careers Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and develop the clinical specialist team Serve as a clinical expert and resource, providing guidance and training Collaborate with clinical leadership across critical care, neonatal, surgery, and other service lines Drive process improvement initiatives and optimize workflows Represent pharmacy in accreditations (e.g., trauma, ABA for Burn Center) Strategically plan for growth (~10% annual) and system-wide clinical service expansion Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Develop clinical protocols, best practices, and standardization across the system Work cross-functionally to integrate pharmacy services and optimize outcomes Ideal Candidate: Experienced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with strong credibility Pediatric experience preferred Passionate about clinical program development, mentorship, and team growth Skilled in process improvement, change management, and collaboration with clinical leadership Able to guide a motivated, early-career team and provide strategic direction Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (Master's preferred) Active pharmacist license in Ohio Board Certification (BCPS, BCPPS, or other BPS certification preferred) PGY1 or 3 years experience required; PGY2 preferred Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; 2 years supervising preferred Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Proficient in MS Office or equivalent software Salary: $125,000 - $190,000/year depending on experience Schedule & Environment: Monday-Friday Why You'll Love This Opportunity: This is a chance to join a supportive, collaborative team and lead the development of clinical pharmacy services in a health system committed to growth, excellence, and innovation. #ghrsearch25
