This role is ideal for a Certified and Registered Radiologic Technologist who is ready to take on a leadership position, supervising the daily operations of the Imaging Services department. The successful candidate will be a team leader responsible for maintaining staffing, workflow, and performance improvement. This is a pivotal role that requires excellent communication, the ability to train and mentor staff, and a commitment to promoting a supportive, professional environment for physicians, staff, and patients. Qualifications Required: • Current Radiologic Technologist license from the State of California (CRT). • Current ARRT certification (RT and M). • Associate of Science Degree. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology. • Minimum of two years of radiologic experience. • Good communication and computer skills. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight • Supervise the daily operations of Radiology support staff and imaging modalities. • Maintain staffing levels, optimize workflow, and lead performance improvement initiatives. • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate Imaging Services on a daily basis. • Ensure that the department complies with all regulatory standards of The Joint Commission, CMS, and the California Department of Public Health. Staff Management & Leadership • Serve as a team leader, maximizing the skills within the group to reach objectives. • Delegate responsibilities based on the abilities of staff members and organizational needs. • Participate in interviewing, training, orienting, and disciplining employees. • Evaluate employee performance thoroughly and objectively. • Foster a supportive, professional environment for physicians, staff, and patients.
