As a key contributor in the finishing department, you will support the production of high-quality, heirloom-worthy pieces. Apply a wide range of wood-finishing techniques including bleaching, hand staining, sealing, glazing, shading, rubbing, topcoating, and waxing. Perform both spray and hand-applied finishing to achieve consistent color, texture, and quality. Follow detailed finish standards and engineering drawings to ensure precision and consistency. Maintain equipment, workspace cleanliness, and adhere to safety practices to promote a safe working environment. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in finishing processes and quality standards. What's Needed? 3-10+ years of professional wood-finishing experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship required. Strong proficiency with spray stain, wipe stain, glaze, lacquer, shading, and topcoat applications. Ability to read and interpret written specifications and engineering drawings accurately. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, and twisting. What's in it for me?
