Position Type: Full-Time | Salaried | Non-Exempt Primary Location: Houston, TX Travel: Required to client facilities throughout the Central U.S. What You'll Do as a Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for providing expert clinical and technical support for Nuclear Cardiac PET operations. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care through: Key Responsibilities: Addressing clinical and technical issues related to equipment, protocols, and site operations Supporting HUB operations, documentation reviews, and radiation safety transportation needs Providing customer support, education, and training for clinical staff Operating and supporting Rb-82 infusion systems Partnering with Clinical Account Managers, National Staffing Manager, and Director of Operations to ensure: Patient care excellence Quality assurance Radiation safety Customer satisfaction Assisting with: New site start-ups Vendor technical training Equipment troubleshooting and resolution Ongoing continuity of care Staffing customer sites when needed Training and mentoring new employees Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient and company information Supporting CDL's company objectives and standards QualificationsRequired: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) certification Active state license (Texas or ability to obtain) 2-4 years of experience in Nuclear Cardiology and/or PET Strong communication, organizational, and clinical training skills Demonstrated ability to adapt, problem-solve, and manage change Professional demeanor with the ability to handle conflict and emergencies Preferred: Experience with OEM or third-party PET software/processing CT Certification Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems Critical Performance Skills Expertise in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET imaging Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal communication Leadership and teamwork Organization and planning Commitment to task and quality Creativity and adaptability Working Conditions Manual dexterity required for equipment delivery, setup, and transport Ability to train clinical personnel in Cardiac PET lab operations Prolonged standing may be required Frequent travel by car or air to multiple sites Exposure to electrical, magnetic, and ionizing radiation Strict adherence to ALARA and radiation safety standards Physical activity including pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting What CDL Nuclear Offers You Join a well-established, nationwide company that invests in your long-term success.
