Job Type: Full-time, onsite located in either Sullivan IL or Princeton KY or Huntingdon TN Salary: Commensurate with experience (includes salary + biannual bonus) Benefits: Link for Benefits and Pay Range or copy the following in a browser Core Responsibilities of our Strategic Procurement Specialist / Commodity Manager: Creating and executing procurement strategies for specialized components in alignment with production needs. Collaborate with internal teams on product planning to ensure optimal inventory levels to meet production requirements. Participate with supplier and internal design teams to optimize design and component costs. Source components from approved suppliers while also mining for new sourcing options. Develop strong partnerships with suppliers, evaluate performance and assist in root cause analysis for corrective action. Assist with the development of continuous improvement opportunities onsite at the supplier. Monitor market pricing trends RequirementsBachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain management or procurement or purchasing Required travel up to 30% Strong negotiation skills Work with a high sense of urgency Technical ability to learn how parts are machined, molded, stamped, pressed, and assembled Manufacturing environment experience preferred Experience as a buyer of manufacturing components is desired Strategic Purchasing Specialist / Commodity Manager, Strategic Sourcing Specialist / Commodity Manager, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager
