Registered Nurse - Step Down (Nursing)

Night shift only. No straight days available. Expected to work every other weekend. AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS are required. The facility does not accept local RN candidates within 75 miles. Medical Step Down/Pulmonary Unit. This is for the MSDU but they need ICU skilled nurses based on patient population, please be sure your candidate is aware. Invasive monitoring, New/Rescue/Continuous NIPPV, New trachs, Ventilator with ETT, Transvenous pacing. Floating is expected; to other units, if needed. Expected to work every other holiday. Facility can call off up to 3 shifts for 13-week contract and 2 shifts less than 13-week contract. Eight hours of non-billable orientation.
