Occupational Therapist (PRN) Myertown Nursing & Rehab - Myertown, PA In-House Rehab Team Myertown Nursing & Rehab is seeking a dedicated PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our In-House Rehabilitation Team. This PRN role includes consistent hours available to cover a staff leave beginning in mid-December. Position Summary The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide direct patient care using standard OT practices and procedures. Responsibilities include documenting treatments, monitoring patient progress, and communicating any changes in condition, all in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing. Deliver all treatment services in accordance with the established plan of care. Provide clinical instruction and support to patients, families, and caregivers. Measure and record motor and neurological capabilities. Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust interventions as needed. Complete documentation per company policy and state/federal regulations. Qualifications & Skills SNF/long-term care experience preferred Current knowledge of treatment practices Familiarity with the Net Health Electronic Documentation System is preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patient personalities Licensure Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Pennsylvania; must be in good standing.
