Java Developer DevOps & CI/CD

Position: Java Developer - DevOps & CI/CDLocation: Columbus, OH Experience: 6-8 Years Role Overview We are seeking a Java Developer with strong DevOps and CI/CD expertise to design, develop, and deliver scalable applications in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in core and advanced Java concepts, hands-on experience with the Spring framework, strong SQL skills, and the ability to integrate modern DevOps tooling into development pipelines. Key Skills & ExpertiseCore Java Development Deep expertise in Core and Advanced Java concepts. Strong experience with the Spring Framework and related modules. Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Database Skills Proficiency in SQL with ability to write and optimize complex queries. Testing & Mocking Frameworks Familiarity with frameworks such as Mockito, JMock, etc., for unit and integration testing. DevOps & CI/CD Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling. Hands-on with GitHub Actions, Harness NextGen or similar CI/CD platforms. Domain Knowledge (Preferred) Exposure to Guidewire products within PolicyCenter (PC) will be a strong plus. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Java and Spring. Integrate DevOps and CI/CD best practices into the development lifecycle. Write optimized SQL queries for data-intensive applications. Leverage mocking frameworks for effective unit and integration testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment. Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications and pipelines. Qualifications 6-8 years of professional experience in Java application development. Strong knowledge of Spring framework, SQL, and DevOps CI/CD practices. Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Harness NextGen, or equivalent tools. Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
