SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFIED

$10,000 Sign on bonus to external hires only DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for the care and use of instruments in the operating room. This position requires on call rotation with 60 minute response time. QUALIFICATIONS Professional/Educational Diploma from an accredited surgical technology program. Currently certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology or National Center for Competency Testing as a Surgical Technologist. Experience, six months to one year preferred. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Basic computer skills. Knowledge of principles of asepsis DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. Personal Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty. Ability to follow directions accurately. Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary.Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
