Judge Direct Placement is working with a manufacturer in the Easton, PA seeking a Maintenance Manager who will lead a strategic shift from reactive /"break-fix/" maintenance to a proactive, reliability-centered culture. This role is responsible for modernizing maintenance systems, optimizing asset performance, and improving the overall efficiency of the operation. The successful candidate will be a change agent capable of coaching a team through a transition to Lean/TPM methodologies to drive maximum uptime and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Culture & Leadership: Drive a departmental shift toward /"Equipment Ownership./" Implement performance management systems and technical training to elevate the skill sets and accountability of the maintenance team. Operational Reliability: Develop and execute a comprehensive Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) maintenance strategy to minimize unplanned downtime and extend asset life. Process Improvement: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all major equipment failures to implement permanent corrective actions. Data Management: Oversee the CMMS to track critical KPIs, including MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Production and Engineering to coordinate maintenance windows that align with throughput goals, ensuring a /"One Team/" approach to manufacturing. Financial Oversight: Manage the maintenance budget, focusing on reducing /"emergency/" spend (overtime, expedited freight) through better planning and parts inventory optimization. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field (preferred). Experience: 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a management role focused on operational transformation. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in CMMS platforms and a deep understanding of PLC, mechanical, and electrical systems. Methodologies: Practical experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), or Six Sigma principles. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and /"change management/" skills; the ability to influence staff at all levels and overcome resistance to new processes. #jdp
