Oracle DRM Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary The Oracle DRM Subject Matter Expert will provide deep technical and functional expertise in Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM/DRG) to support ongoing operations within a large commercial banking environment. The role involves managing, enhancing, and optimizing metadata management solutions that integrate with key financial systems such as Oracle GL, Oracle EPM, PBCS, and HFM. This position requires extensive hands-on experience, the ability to work independently as a senior SME, and strong collaboration with finance and accounting teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary SME for Oracle DRM/DRG across multiple banking entities. Develop, maintain, and support DRM applications using industry and platform best practices. Perform ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and support for existing DRM solutions, rather than project-based work. Integrate DRM with Oracle ERP GL and Oracle EPM applications including PBCS and HFM. Apply best practices to application architecture and provide guidance for improvements. Create, optimize, and troubleshoot Exports, Imports, Action Scripts, Blenders, and other DRM components. Develop and maintain DRG workflows following best-practice standards. Create scripts using PowerShell, Batch, or similar scripting languages as needed. Deliver high-quality documentation for solution design, training, and knowledge transfer. Collaborate effectively with finance and accounting teams to support metadata and hierarchy management needs. Work closely with broader teams to ensure alignment, communication, and successful delivery of required tasks. Required Qualifications 10-15 years of experience with Oracle DRM/DRG, including hands-on development and solution ownership. Significant expertise specifically in Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM), beyond Oracle Hyperion Financial Management. Extensive experience integrating DRM with Oracle ERP GL, Oracle EPM, HFM, and PBCS. Strong understanding of finance and accounting domains, with experience partnering with Finance teams on implementation or operational work. Expertise in developing DRG workflows and supporting enterprise metadata management. Strong scripting experience using PowerShell, Batch, or similar technologies. Proven ability to create and troubleshoot DRM Exports, Imports, Action Scripts, and Blenders. Strong documentation skills for design, training, and operational handoff. Ability to work independently as a senior/lead SME without requiring mentoring or training. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
