As the Nursing Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the operating rooms, ensuring that high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered efficiently and effectively. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide strong leadership and direction to the nursing staff in the Cherry Hill Operating Rooms, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Manage the day-to-day operations of the operating rooms, ensuring that all procedures are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with hospital policies and best practices. Mentor and develop the nursing team, providing ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge. Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, reducing surgical complications, and improving overall efficiency in the operating rooms. Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes. Oversee the operating room budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that financial goals are met. Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to, including infection control, surgical site marking, and time-out procedures. Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that align with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. Address any operational challenges or issues that arise in the operating rooms, implementing solutions to maintain smooth and safe operations. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington. Minimum of 3 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. BLS and ACLS certifications are required; CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification is preferred. Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in budgeting and resource management, and a deep commitment to patient safety and quality care.
