Job Position: Tool and Die Maker Location: Holly, MI Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00/hr based on experience Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire, First Shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm) Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker for a growing manufacturing company in Holly, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures that support production operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong machining knowledge and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Tool and Die Maker with a strong understanding of machining processes, precision measurement tools, and blueprint interpretation. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and maintaining tooling components used in production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Duties and Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications. Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and other equipment. Fabricate, assemble, and test dies, gauges, and fixtures to precise tolerances. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing tools and dies. Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and maintenance to improve processes and support machine repairs. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Requirements and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker (apprenticeship or equivalent technical training preferred). Strong knowledge of machining processes, metallurgy, and precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.). Ability to work independently, follow technical instructions, and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
