Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program need.Successful candidates may teach at the Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department.This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists.Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.Required Qualifications A minimum of a master’s degree in communication disorders and ASHA certification ( CCC - SLP ) and eligibility for clinical licensure in Texas is required. Preferred Qualifications A terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in communication disorders or a closely related field is preferred. The College of Health Professions will accept applications from qualified applicants on a continual basis.
