What This Role is All About: We are seeking an full-stack engineer who will take ownership across the product - from frontend interfaces to backend systems to cloud infrastructure. You'll work closely with the founding team, ship quickly, speak directly with users, and help influence the trajectory of the platform. This role is ideal for someone who loves building, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to grow into a technical leader. What You'll Be Doing: Build features end-to-end across React/Next.js and Django/Python Design and implement backend APIs, database models, and integrations Deploy and operate services in AWS and Kubernetes Work directly with government and industry users to understand problems Ship fast, iterate quickly, and help define product direction Contribute to engineering standards, culture, and early team processes What You Bring: Located in Boston, MA (or willing to relocate) for onsite work Eligible and willing to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience Hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack features Strong fluency in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.) Strong fluency in at least one backend language/framework (Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, etc.) Comfort with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work across the stack Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment Bonus Points: Experience with our stack: Frontend: React, Next.js, Typescript Backend: Python, Django Data: Postgres, Elasticsearch Infra: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes Experience with backend integrations, ETL, or data pipelines Experience deploying and operating cloud-based applications Previous startup or early-stage engineering experience Demonstrated builder energy (side projects, open-source, hackathons, or founding experience) Interest in defense, national security, dual-use technology, or mission-driven work Benefits: Competitive salary & meaningful equity Health, dental, and vision coverage PTO + holidays Work at the intersection of AI, software, and national security Join a small, high-ownership engineering team
