Data Ops Support Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • Experience in data engineering or platform support. • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Talend/TMC, Qlik Replicate, and Power BI operations, Power Automate • Strong SQL skills and performance tuning across data warehouse and BI tools. • Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows and ITIL-based support models. • Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell for automation. • Understanding data quality checks, schema drift detection, and observability. • Experience with access control, RBAC, and audit processes. • Deep experience in ETL/replication tools and cloud data warehouses • Exposure to change management and release processes • Ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues Roles & Responsibilities 1. Provide L1.5/L2 support for data platforms including Snowflake, Talend/TMC, Qlik Replicate, and Power BI. 2. Monitor ETL/ELT pipelines and resolve job failures, schema drift, and data quality issues. 3. Execute deployments, patching, and upgrades in coordination with DevOps and infrastructure teams. 4. Automate routine support tasks using scripting (Python, PowerShell). 5. Manage incidents, service requests, and problems using ITSM tools like ServiceNow. 6. Support change management processes, including release coordination and documentation. 7. Collaborate with data engineers and architects during data migration and transformation phases. 8. Ensure compliance with SLAs, audit requirements, and security policies (e.g., RBAC, access control). 9. Participate in month-end processing, data validation, and reconciliation activities. Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base for operational continuity. Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year
