DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - VULNERABILITY SCANNING AND COORDINATED REMEDIATION WITH RESPONSIBLE TEAMS - DEPLOY AND MANAGE EDR - REVIEW FIREWALL REQUESTS - RESEARCH AND ASSESS NEWLY RELEASED VULNERABILITIES - ASSIST WITH INCIDENT RESPONSE AND INVESTIGATION - ASSIST WITH GRC ASSESSMENTS - CREATE ALERTS IN SIEM BASED OFF DATA FROM VARIOUS SECURITY TOOLS REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • 1+ year experience supporting web applications • 1+ year supporting databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, or MySQL • 1+ years of experience with Nmap tool • 1+ years' experience with Wireshark • 2+ years' experience with vulnerability scanning • Ability to communicate vulnerability information to non-security personnel • Working knowledge of web applications • Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL • Strong understanding of networking (Nmap tool, Wireshark, and vulnerability scanning) REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • Experience performing searching in SIEM • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls • Experience with NIST 800-53 PREFERRED CERTIFICATION: SECURITY + bout our Company DataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
