Network/Telecom Specialist- Mid Level Onsite bout the Job Duration: 6+ months Contract (possibility of extension) Location: - Onsite: Raleigh, NC Pay rate: Hourly, depending on experience Job ID: 777721 Qualifications: Typical Experience: 36-60 months Sample Role Types: Network Engineer, Network Analyst, Infrastructure Specialist Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance; can provide limited leadership to others; able to manage medium complexity work efforts; may have industry experience. Description (including, but not limited to): 1. Design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network 2. Specialization in Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs), TCP/IP, virtual machines, and/or server/network infrastructure 3. Responsibility for installation, configuration and administration of network routers and switches 4. Responsibility for installation of cable, wiring and related equipment for telephony and data interfaces and systems with communications functions 5. Execution of disaster recovery / back up procedures and archiving procedures 6. Responsibility for performance tuning, capacity planning, database administration, and fault management dditional work regarding regarding Apache Tomcat, Wildfly and java web application management and configuration for deployments to server.
