Optical Technician

Optical Technician Preference Employment Solutions is hiring a dependable, customer focused Optical Technician for a busy and well established optometric practice in Fargo. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, thrives in a fast paced clinical environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service and care. You will support both clinical and front desk operations while helping patients with eyewear, contacts, and appointments. Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-time Schedule: 8:45am - 5:15pm, Monday - Friday Compensation: $19.50/hr. Benefits:Paid Holidays, PTO, Health & Dental Insurance, Aflac available, 401k, on-the-job training Position Overview: Assist with pretesting and gathering patient history, scans, visual fields, and visit details. Help patients order frames, lenses, and contact lenses. Check in prescriptions and lab orders and notify patients when ready. Train patients on inserting and removing contact lenses. Provide front desk support including check-in, scheduling, invoicing, and customer service. Verify medical and vision insurance. Coordinate referrals and communicate with other provider offices. Adjust and fit glasses for patient comfort. Maintain a clean, professional, and patient friendly clinic environment.
