Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for science and patient care?We are seeking a Part-time Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient health by performing a variety of laboratory tests.Key Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to the following): Specimen Processing: Efficiently handle and process patient specimens.Test Performance: Performs a variety of laboratory testing per Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) guidelines for Pain Management practice.Conduct a range of clinical laboratory tests, including urine drug screening and confirmation testing using advanced instrumentation (chemistry analyzers and Sciex LC-MS/MS). Quality Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.Result Reporting: Accurately report test results to healthcare providers.Laboratory Maintenance: Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHSA regulations related to safety and cleanliness. Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology (REQUIRED).Experience: 1 year or more experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred, especially with high-complexity clinical testing.Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer, laboratory equipment, including Sciex LC-MS/MS and chemistry analyzers.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.HIPAA Compliance: Understanding and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
