You're constantly evolving, so shouldn't your opportunities be, too?The OpportunityThe Testing and Monitoring Analyst II operates independently and plays a critical role in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of key processes and controls within the Deposits Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA). This role is responsible for executing risk based testing and monitoring activities, identifying operational risks and control deficiencies, and partnering with business stakeholders to drive sustainable process improvements. Additional responsibilities may include special projects like process reviews, Issue Validations, and continuous monitoring. The ideal candidate executes efficient and effective tests relative to risk, ensuring accordance with Testing and Monitoring methodology and other applicable policies and standards. This role will be hands on requiring someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across multiple cross-functional areas.At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Ally work location is Fort Washington PAThe Work Itself Independently conduct risk based testing and ongoing monitoring of Deposits processes to assess control design and operating effectiveness.Develop and execute appropriate testing strategies, including defining scope, selecting samples, and determining testing methods.Lead walkthroughs with Deposits teams to gain a better and comprehensive understanding of processes, risks, and controls.Clearly document testing results and findings in complete and accurate work papers that meet testing and monitoring standards.Identify, communicate, and escalate control deficiencies, emerging risks, and trends in a timely and professional manner.Build and maintain strong working relationships with Deposits leadership, business partners, and cross functional teams.Collaborate with managers and Deposits leaders to address control issues.Perform special projects and ad hoc reviews outside of standard RCSA testing, including but not limited to targeted process reviews, Issue Validation and closure testing, continuous monitoring initiatives, preparation for internal or external audits and regulatory exams.Assist management with duties as necessary. The Skills You Bring 1+ years of experience in banking operations, risk, compliance, audit, or quality requiredUnderstanding of the Financial Services industry, with an emphasis on Risk Management; as well as related laws, rules, and regulations.Project management experience preferredPrior experience in an Analyst role preferredAbility to adapt to change quickly.High level of problem-solving capability and research-oriented skills.Well-organized and thorough work ethicStrong Communication skills both written and verbal.Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint How We'll Have Your Back Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
