Finger Lakes Region $25.50–$34.32/hr depending on experience | Overtime pay available The Opportunity This is a direct-hire, full-time position for a Certified Athletic Trainer to join a sports medicine team serving athletes across school systems and outpatient clinical settings in Geneva, NY. You'll work under physician supervision to deliver injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation care that keeps athletes competing at their best. Your Day-to-Day Apply preventative care techniques and fit supportive devices to reduce sports-related injuries Design and guide athletes through individualized conditioning and reconditioning programs Provide scheduled event coverage and emergency response at school and athletic venues Communicate care plans and progress clearly to physicians, coaches, parents, and athletes Educate school staff and athletes on injury prevention best practices Document patient care accurately using EMR systems and maintain up-to-date records Adapt to flexible work locations across clinical and on-site athletic settings What We're Looking For Education Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field — required Master's degree — preferred Licensure & Certification New York State Certified Athletic Trainer licensure — required NATABOC Certification — required BLS Certification — completed through the RQI system during clinical orientation Experience New graduates are welcome 1–2 years in a school or outpatient orthopedic/physician practice setting — preferred Skills Strong communication skills across clinical and coaching environments Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and shift priorities as schedules demand Professional handling of confidential patient and athlete information Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems — preferred Why Geneva, NY?
